On a recent trip to Venice, my husband and I stumbled upon a charming establishment just 80 meters away from the Renaissance spiral staircase in Palazzo Contarini. The hotel boasts a seamless blend of traditional Venetian elements and modern comforts, with bright pastel-colored furnishings adding a touch of elegance to the classic style.We were impressed by the young and professional staff, who not only assisted us with check-in but also shared insightful recommendations on unusual itineraries and shopping spots in the area. The free WiFi throughout the property was a convenience we appreciated, though some members of the staff did come across as slightly aloof.Venturing out, we found typical bacari and trattorias nearby, offering a delightful array of cicheti and traditional Venetian cuisine.
